This place rocks it out of the park! The other Puerto Rican spots in Elgin can not compete with street kings! I had the rice bowl with churrasco (skirt steak) and maduros instead of the fried plantains. Let start with the rice, it is non grease and full of on point flavor. The skirt steak seasoned to perfection with bell peppers and onions! The chef who I believe is the owner is well mannered and polite! I will definitely come back to try their other platers out!

Everything was tasty! Especially enjoyed the relleno de papa (not overly fried - nice & light!) The jibarito also had great flavor!

It was a bunch of businesses in a loft like atmosphere, went specifically to try Street Food King. Loved my jibaroto, the owner was great!!! The business nxt to him sold these beautiful sweatshirts with flowers on them, my son purchased two!!!

Food had a unique twist on traditional PR food. Steak was lovley with a nice char finish. Banana chips and tostones were dope especially with the sauce given. DO NOT come with expectations for traditional PR food. An open mind and allow your taste buds to take a ride on the StreetKingz express
